Copacol Tilapia Papilote with Thyme

Papillote is a method used to roast meats inside a paper. From this method it is possible for the food to cook in its own steam, maintaining its flavors and nutrients. For the Tilapia Fillet in Papelote recipe we used parchment paper, Copacol Tilapia Fillet, potatoes and a few more spices.

400 g Copacol Tilapia Fillet

100 g sliced onions

100 g sliced leek

300 g potatoes, cut into thin slices

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil to taste

defoliated thyme to taste

Parchment paper
__ __ Preparation mode

Season the Copacol Tilapia Fillets with salt and pepper.

Cut 40 cm of parchment paper and lay out on a board.

Start assembling the papillotes: place slices of onion, leek, thyme leaves, sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.

Arrange a tilapia fillet on the vegetable bed, arrange the potato slices as if they were fish scales. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, thyme leaves and drizzle with olive oil.

Close the papillote, securing the edges tightly so that air and no liquid can escape.

Bake at 180° for approximately 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve each papillote individually, opening it only when ready to eat.
